i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”

basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

i feel that with my dad.

An Art Nouveau Gem in Douai
The pictured, artistic shop window is a real Art Nouveau gem in Douai, France. Designed around 1904 by architect Albert Pèpe and known as "La maison Tournesol," it is today a protected historical monument.

President Clinton banned assault rifles in 1994, mass shootings dropped by 43%.

Republicans let the ban expire in 2004, and they increased 243%.

The USA is the only country where anybody can buy an assault rifle.

INSANE.

Today, I will mostly be playing guitar and singing at Sandy Bell’s pub in Edinburgh. I will be joined by Sally Thompson (piano, accordion), Paul Hedges (harmonica) and Annie Gunner Logan (vocals, guitar).
Mostly Americana, with the occasional acoustic banger.
It starts at 2 and goes on till 5.

Peter Green’s Oh Well with Fleetwood Mac. Aside from Honky Tonk Woman, probably the best use of cow bell in a blues/rock number. www.threads.com/@wahyuindrof...
