And a highly valued independent AEC which assigns our voting electorates.
Vive the AEC.

And preferential voting.
And absentee voting.
Thanks to all involved in our #auspol system.

Politicians - don't EVER get near our system.
Remember #Scomo wanted "optional" voting to start the rot...
No way!
We have compulsory, mandatory voting for every Aussie citizen over 18. You HAVE TO vote, it's the LAW. Making gerrymandering pointless here in Oz.

We also use PAPER BALLOTS, or pre-polling (at places) and mail-in ballots. NO COMPUTERS involved. No election 'companies' involved.

Victoria isn’t broke, its net assets are actually increasing

The reason it’s spending more than it’s collecting at present is it’s in the middle of massive infrastructure upgrades

The BCA is calling for more infrastructure and complaining about its cost..ffs

Don’t hobble Victoria with complaints about taxes, debt and deficit
Big business never tires of saying taxes are bad, yet those same companies thrive on the very services taxes pay for.

IF anyone needed convincing a progressive tax system is essential to curb obscene wealth & political power of selfish individuals - Gina Rinehart is living proof.
Off the back of The People’s crown mineral resources, and under a regressive tax system endorsed by the Duopoly, she’s prospered
#auspol
The Faragists, backed by Gina, are about to trigger a full blast Australian fear campaign on net zero target and “mass” migration. Resolve polling indicates electors remain undecided on these political pressure points.

Horrifying to see Victoria seeking adult jail sentences for children. 14 year old could be deemed too young for social media in Aus but old enough for a life sentence in prison. So little care for actual children, but politicians happy to invoke "protect the children" to win political points #auspol

The Liberal Party's decision to abandon Net Zero threatens all Australians’ health, with serious consequences for our families and communities.

The health impacts of climate change are an escalating threat that our leaders must be prepared to face and address.

We are deeply disappointed.
Liberal Party formally abandons net zero by 2050 climate target
The decision brings the party closer to the Nationals, which ditched its support for the target earlier this month amid internal turmoil over the Coalition's policy.

It's striking how much Watson's trajectory mirrors that of today's alpha techbros. His initial huge success, in reality based largely on luck, convinced the self-taught molecular biologist that he was extraordinary, and the so-called experts were plodding fools.
