The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

Imagine if your state had a balanced budget and a bunch of other congressmen were like lol no. This is why we want state rights. it’s totally about hating DC because of how it votes, how black it is, and how many feds work here

This season of #Loveisblind hasn’t been fantastic but it’s one of the few dating shows that actually talks about politics. It’s crazy to me that there are people who “just don’t think about politics bc it doesn’t affect them” and then they are caught off guard that for other this is related to

DOGE “seemed unsure” of what USAID programs they cut and is now attempting to reverse some of the cuts, says @propublica.org reporter Brett Murphy. “This is the opposite of a careful review."

This is part of the poison fed into people's brain by Reagan, federal employees are evil greedy people in shadowy buildings in DC, not "real Americans" and that has always been dumb. Now it's tragic.
Just learned from NPR that the federal government is the largest employer in the great Kansas City area, for example. I found it helpful to be reminded that, of course, this isn’t just about people who work and live in DC. Federal employees are in all of our communities.
