There’s a new political party in Vancouver. And it’s Liberal! Running candidates for Vancouver's 2026 civic election.

Take a moment to watch this video. I like these ideas and I’d love to hear what you think in the replies.

Putting a focus on artists and food banks is long overdue. But, what will truly resonate is helping bring and retain health providers in our city.

Smart tax policy means making a difference in people's lives... not blindly cutting services.

Vancouver’s resources should be for Vancouverites, not offshore billionaires.
It’s time for Vancouver to stop subsidizing offshore billionaires who use our city’s services to keep their luxury yachts afloat. I will raise taxes on luxury yachts and use the funds to support food banks, doctors, and artists—things that actually matter to the people who live here!

Wow! What a train wreck.

Without @kareem42.bsky.social providing the script and solutions, Mayor Sim is unable to answer questions or provide insight.

City Hall should get out of the way for non-profits providing essential services!
Burnaby and Surrey don’t charge food banks property taxes. Vancouver does!
The Vancouver Liberals will immediately remove all property taxes from food banks operating in the city of Vancouver.

The Park Board fought to keep our community washrooms clean and cared for. Removing change tables is disgusting, misogynistic, and a setback for families.

Parents deserve safe, accessible spaces — this decision hurts caregivers, women, and children across Vancouver.

the absurd thing to me was the VPD calling this all a SOCIAL SAFETY NET when its clearly the lack thereof that endangers everyone

@laura-christensen.bsky.social hands down. Every day of the week. On her worst day she’s better than Ken on his best day.

We will immediately cut property taxes in half for family doctors and walk-in medical clinics.

Vancouverites need better healthcare, and the Vancouver Liberals will do our part to enable clinicians to work in our city.

The level of incompetence with the budget is historic. In all of Vancouver history no one has raised taxes more than Ken Sim in a 4 year period. What’s the reward for the taxpayer’s investment… record historic cuts.
Everyone’s property tax bill will go up this year. Ken Sim and ABC are increasing utility fees, user fees, and business permit fees. But worse, they have been cutting frontline services while spending money on back-office consultants and analysts.

Vancouver has the highest number of artists per capita in Canada. Artists are critical to our tourism sector and creative digital industries.

✅ Protecting artists’ spaces is critical to our economy, which is why we will deliver North America’s first Artist Land Reserve.

ABC recklessness with the Vancouver budget means cuts to services to people. While Ken Sim fires 400 frontline staff (and counting), Vancouver Liberals will hire 400 new frontline staff for our libraries, our parks and streets ON DAY ONE. @cupebc.bsky.social @cupe391.bsky.social
From potholes, parks, and missed garbage pick up. Vancouver deserves better.

Quality city upkeep and great city services start with front-line workers.

On day one a Vancouver Liberal govt will requisition 400 new front-line CUPE workers to get things back on track.
