If you live in the Cities, an easy way to help immigrant families in hiding is: laundry! Laundromats are ICE magnets, so people without washers need help.

The People’s Laundry will drop off laundry to your door to wash and dry and pick up a few days later:

What makes this statement by Emmanuel Macron so unprecedented is, for the first time, a leading European ally is equating Trump with Putin.

“No intimidation or threat will influence us - neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world.”

EVERYTHING has changed.

But X just an abusive BS machine. Stepping away.

Bill 11
“This law established two-tier medicare and private health insurance in Alberta effectively destroying universal single-tier public medicare in Canada.“

It won’t stop in Alberta. In Ontario Ford has been starving the public system while funnelling money to private companies.
Worth 8 minutes of your time.
Conservative premiers are killing our most important social welfare program, very literally a pillar of our democracy. Carney appears disinclined to intervene. Please sign the petition, link at the end. #cdnpoli #onpoli

Alberta's Bill 11 sounds death knell for universal healthcare
It is hard to overstate how destructive Bill 11 is. If Alberta and Ontario fail to fight provincial privatization, free universal healthcare across the country is at risk of collapsing.

It may be hard to see now, but I'm telling you: he fundamental tenets of 21st-century competitive authoritarianism are the denial of climate change, the promotion of an economy based on fossil fuels, and the abrogation of human rights and the rule of law so as to manage tenets one and two.
For those thinking that climate change can take a back seat while this other geopolitical mess is addressed - think again. Climate change is in part why Greenland has become so attractive to Pumpkin and his lot. bbc.com/news/videos/...
