Indigenous folks and others with the most vulnerability in the face of the fascistic arm of our country are the first to arrive and the last to leave a site of protest. As white ppl we should be part of the numbers but amplify and defer to THEIR voices.
Stop Indigenous eraser at PDX ICE. Indigenous are a small portion of the US population but we are always highly represented on the frontline, a byproduct of Standing Rock. We have AIM elders advice. The first PPB riot squad 2025 at ICE was an Indigenous protest of 10 people in Jauary.

i genuinely dont know what other industry has failed as speculatively as journalism has failed at meeting this moment

we are talking about whether zohran is going to do a sharia law while gop has been trying to pass a bill to strip medicaid to pay for concentration camps like

We have been protesting at PDX ICE since January 21, 2025 for Trumps 2nd term.
Not one fed or cop has been hospitalized, disabled or killed after 7 months of "violent" protests at PDX ICE.
In 4 hours on one day MAGA put 144 in the hospital, killed two and disabled 20 who couldn't return to duty.

Dear PDX,
Show up to protest at the federal courthouse and at ICE. The more feds focused on crushing our rebellion, the less feds are deporting. You dont even need to protest. Have a dance party BBQ with protest signs. Feds are forced to adjust rosters just in case either way.
Border Czar Tom Homan says that once Congress passes Trump's budget bill, he'll have more money than ever to carry out arrests and deportations: "You think we're arresting people now? You wait 'til we get the funding to do what we gotta do."

I wish we could get people to call every PDX city council person and every other politician in Oregon. I wish the people who call themselves allies against ICE would spend 1 hour making calls and emails.
I am begging you to and then veg your friend too. They can't silence ICE kidnapping US citizens.

Eric Adams: Imagine a platypus so powerful that it could destroy the city. We need more cops

My buddy Dale does not typically enjoy being contained in any way. But he let me zip him up into my sweater when he cuddled onto my chest, and we enjoyed a solid half hour of coregulating snuggles.

Is spotify trying to give the “fair and balanced” treatment to my lefty listening history?

I will not be listening to the Bari Weiss podcast, but I DO expect @michaelhobbes.bsky.social and Peter to hate listen for a @ifbookspod.bsky.social bonus.
