While organizing my hoarder-ass house I found this Chinese The King of Fighters '97 manga with included Tokyo Game Show 1998 promo VCD. No I don't speak any Chinese, I was just a silly white boy who bought things that looked cool in Chinatown back then. Ripping the disc now.
Shiny magazine cover titled "The King of Fighters '97" 28/3/1998 with a "sun" in the middle holding the included VideoCD, which says "Tokyo Game Show Spring 1998". Vol. 36, $23.00. Also has a bunch of Chinese writing on it. An early two-page spread in the Manga showing Kyo Kusanagi looking mighty fierce. In another panel, he appears to be standing on a piece of rock in the middle of lava.

I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.

It isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but this kind of humanity is a hell of a start.

🚨The Trump administration will be signing an Executive Order later today to ban Transgender people from the military. It also will instruct the DOD to institute a bathroom ban.

They claim it takes 12 months of narcotics to recover from transition surgery, which is absolutely and utterly false.
• Individuals who are unable to meet these requirements are unable to serve in the military. This has been the case for decades. • Unit cohesion requires high levels of integrity and stability among servicemembers. • It can take a minimum of 12 months for an individual to complete treatments after transition surgery, which often involves the use of heavy narcotics. • During this period, they are not physically capable of meeting military readiness requirements and require ongoing medical care. This is not conducive for deployment or other readiness requirements. Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Ensures Military Excellence and Readiness PRIORITIZING SERVICEMEMBER INTEGRITY, LETHALITY, AND HEALTH: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order directing the Department of Defense to update its guidance regarding trans-identifying medical standards for military service and to rescind guidance inconsistent with military readiness. • The Executive Order will require the Secretary of Defense to do the following: • Update all Department of Defense medical standards to ensure they prioritize readiness and lethality. • Take action to end the use of invented and identification-based pronouns in the Department of Defense. • The Executive Order also prohibits males from using or sharing sleeping, changing, or bathing in facilities designated for females. • The provisions in the Executive Order also apply to the Coast Guard. • The Executive Order revokes Biden Administration Executive Order 14004 and all policies, directives, and guidance pursuant to that order. • Executive Order 14004 called for accommodating "gender identity" in the military - to the detriment of military readiness and unit cohesion.

Disappointed. Watched the SVU ep this meme is from. All this time I thought they had caught some turbonerd sex pest with a modded large storage 2009 flip phone he'd accrued 10 gigs of butt creepshots on. Turns out that's Stabler's phone with a preview from a suspect's desktop stash.
