I put off getting a Cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) for 2 years because of logistics and cost. It was a $3k test out of pocket and required travel to Santa Clara, CA. The other recommended location was Ithaca, NY.

Does anyone have a favorite gluten free and sugar free apple pie recipe they love?

I’m craving apple pie for the first time since 2020 and am curious if I can pull it off. I can use substitutes for sugar like maple syrup, coconut sugar, and a bit of allulose.

I mean I have been enraged about this topic for a while, but I had also never actually figured out how they calculate the poverty line.

I am legitimately speechless.
We have a “poverty trap” and it’s driving the destruction of social cohesion.

The “poverty line” is’t 35,000, it’s $150,000, and making more than one, and less than the other is worse than being “poor”.

Which is why the rage.

I find it fascinating to see how people treat one when the chips are down. When they think you no longer add value because of unemployment, disability, etc. says so much about them and society. Don’t believe it. It’s not truth. We all have inherent worth and value.

Some of my friends can’t call me. For some people it goes directly to voice mail and says the vm box hasn’t been set up yet. Which is a lie.

I have rebooted the phone.

I have toggled airplane mode on and off. As well as Bluetooth.

I have deleted the contacts and typed them back in fresh.

Let’s just take a moment to absorb that Long Covid affects 36% globally! Why? Because society said it didn’t matter if anyone gets covid - doesn’t care if people are still dying or get a life long illness that has no cure.

Up to maybe 10% in Germany. We'll have to continue to monitor this one.

Ugh. I have to go to urgent care. I have had some kidney pain here and there the past 2 weeks and today I woke up and my hips don’t work. It may be inflammation due to a kidney infection. The virtual doctor said GO TO AN URGENT CARE for testing. So off I go.
