I've revisited "Northern Exposure" many times since the 90s, mostly for the needle drops. And the C-plot about two 40+ year old men beefing over the affections of a teenage runaway never gets any easier to stomach.

It's hard for me to see this as more than the perennial reminder that Trump doesn't know anything about dogs, how people feel about them, or how they are used in similes (or metaphors, but I don't think he uses metaphors. Not interested in examples).
