Water aerobics this morning played the best electronic dance hits from the mid to late 90s and early 00s including Everytime We Touch, Numa Numa, Another Night, I'll Fly with You, and Sandstorm.
Not entirely sure WHY the instructor did that bc I think I'm the only one who enjoyed it???

I think there's a lot about monster lovers that is fundamentally misunderstood when people who have NOT been berated/hated/discriminated/dismissed for their appearance examine it. They have never BEEN the monster wishing for love, never been the monster hoping to be accepted and adored as is.
I'm getting really tired of the phrase "beauty underneath/beyond/in spite of monster" being used to explain GDT's monster romances because the whole thing is that the person who loves them does NOT see monstrousness! It doesn't occur to them that the being they see could be anything but beautiful!

Earlier this year I hauled my fat ass over to New Jersey for a consult appt for top surgery.
I will not be going with that doctor, in part because her skinny ass was shocked that I estimated it would take me 3 months to lose 15 pounds.

Hey. Fat people also deserve food. Fat people using snap benefits deserve to eat guiltfree. Going without will not make them instantly skinny, and in some cases, like those with diabetes, not eating on a set schedule can exacerbate health problems. Being fat does not equal laziness or weak morality.
