I love those personal goal punch cards that people have been making (ex: make coffee at home 10 times, go buy a fancy one at a cafe! Read 6 books, get a shoulder massage! Etc) but I will never reward myself even if I fill up the punch card so someone else has to provide the rewards for me 🥲🥲

The average professional artist (and I’m talking getting paid literally anything for their art) has a skill set that is rarer, harder to do, and that takes longer to master than any middle management type you’ve ever met, but those do-nothing dipshits can make six figures with no one getting upset.
"You shouldn't make art for the money" buddy I'll take it one step further and say we shouldn't have to labor for capital at all but in the meantime pay an artist

It still blows me away that poor people get fined every day for tail lights or headlights being out, but fucking automated Waymo cars can run red lights with no driver with impunity. Just complete societal failure to hold engineers accountable for the violence they cause.

Do not accept the business model of “AI make stuff and then humans edit/refine it” because it is just a ploy to exploit said human workers to work for less pay and even less dignity.
