Saddened to hear of the passing of the incomparable Catherine O'Hara. Wonderful in Beetlejuice, superb in Home Alone, simply sublime in Schitt's Creek. Moira Rose is a gift of a role which she grabbed with both hands and ran. Thoughts are with her friends and family at this most difficult time.

What perfect album came out when you were 16?

1995 was a banging year for music :D

Superb end to Series 4 of The Traitors. No complaints from me about the outcome; the best people won.

One hell of a cliffhanger for tonight's episode of The Traitors. Tomorrow's finale is going to be intense!

Aside for The Traitors and other random shenanigans, one of my other major interests is cinema and especially the Oscars. Since 2003, I've tried to predict what films, directors and performances will be nominated. Ahead of today's announcement, here are my predictions: bit.ly/3YO1od3

It wasn't just the contestants' heads that were spinning after last night's episode of The Traitors. Utterly chaotic. I thought that the Traitors giving the double-vote dagger to a Faithful would have been a mistake. Couldn't have been more wrong. It was mayhem in the best possible way.

I love The Traitors but there are a few things that put me off applying for it:

1) My level of physical fitness is nowhere near good enough to handle some of the missions

2) The knowledge I have ABSOLUTELY NO control over the edit so have no clue how I'll be presented/come across until it airs

The Traitors Episode 9 made me cry. Not the murder (expected but still gutting) or the banishment (thought we might have another tie) but when they were talking about what they'd do with the money if they won. Jade's and Stephen's stories hit me right in the feels. Both phenomenal human beings.

Thoughts on The Traitors Episode 8:
* A lucky guess by the Traitors at the beginning there
* I'd have been first out the door at the cabin task- that was very freaky (great production design)
* I spent far too long trying to figure out how deeply (or otherwise) the people in the graves were buried

The Traitors Episode 7. Wow. That was A LOT. Superb TV, as always. But I think the Traitors have made a mistake by going to murder and not seduce/recruit. They could do the latter and rightly state they couldn't murder (Faithful beginning with J) first as they didn't know if they had a shield.

Another cracking episode of The Traitors. And a couple of very interesting questions Matthew asked at the end there. But can he take the Traitors at their word? To be honest, they might not even be worth the paper they're written on...

Holy Moses, what an INTENSE episode of The Traitors (Episode 5). How on Earth things pan out from here, I've NO IDEA.

Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

Thoughts on The Traitors Ep. 4:
* Not who I had pegged as the Secret Traitor (I thought Ellie) but a good choice nonetheless.
* Ross/Ellie connection not a surprise, thanks to Internet sleuthing.
* Format shake-up (round table before mission) worked well.
* Task felt brutal but very in keeping.

Fully deChristmassed the flat, sorted out decorations and present-wrapping stuff into new storage containers, and stowed the tree into a new bag (the box it came in has very much given up the ghost). Might not seem much but I'm counting every little victory at the moment.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode of The Traitors. Utterly delightful. The Secret Traitor twist is a lovely way to put the cat among the pigeons. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out as the show progresses. Cracking music and Claudia Winkleman is just divine. Great way to start the year.

Happy New Year everyone. May 2026 give you what you need to thrive.

If 2025 was good to you, may that continue. If it wasn't (I know it wasn't for many), may 2026 be better.

The page is turned. The blank page of the year sits before us, like a field of pristine snow. Write something magnificent.

Jumpin' Jack Flash when I was about 8 and RoboCop when I was about 9. Safe to say a lot in both films went right over my head ;)
Name 1 movie from your childhood you were way too young to watch.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Strictly Christmas special. Glittery, camp, lots of fun. Not gonna lie, teared up a bit throughout. The show is going to be very different without Tess and Claudia. Whoever takes on the roles have very big (and sparkly) shoes to fill.
