Oh, totally - the good outweighs the bad on balance
Along with the rest of him, no doubt... I attended a cremation last week for a member of my husband's family and, on the car journey to the ceremony, one of the questions on Ten To The Top was "name the band behind this one-hit wonder". Yes, it was The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown with "Fire"
There's a great film hidden inside Love Actually - there's a couple of storylines you could excise and lose nothing of value. There's some awful bodyshaming comments and the signs-at-the-door scene now comes across as very creepy, but Emma Thompson breaks my heart every time and Bill Nighy's a riot
My first thought was: that sounds like two dishes that should never be put together, but I can kind of see it working.
Such a superb thriller - expertly acted, tightly scripted, beautifully shot. It's one I recommend, especially to people who only know Angela Lansbury from Murder, She Wrote or Beauty And The Beast. I think some people forget the range and skill she had as an actress (see also: Gaslight).
Are there any particular episodes or serials that you'd like to see returned? Like, if you could wave a magic wand and get them back, what's at the top of your list?

Fantastic @gimmickspod.bsky.social episode on the superb "Go Flip Yourself" (What We Do In The Shadows). Loved the deep dive into US reality TV history as well. Also loved the bonus ep - I need to see the alternate hypnosis scenes!
For me, this is Peter Capaldi's defining moment as the Doctor. Helped by some of the most powerful writing the revived series has seen, this is an absolute masterclass of acting.
I'd love to see Cat win as she has been a superb player, but I think Nick, Joe and David will be taking the money for their charities. Not the worst outcome if it is the case. I've certainly enjoyed the show; it's been fun.

Would you ever consider going on the show, Victoria?
I hope you're right. If only for the hopefully fatal aneurysm it'll give Mango Mussolini
Slane Castle also looked like a perfect place to host the show. As with other versions, superb visuals and clever editing help immeasurably. Traitors Ireland is a great addition to the franchise and I hope it gets a second season.
The Faithfuls COULD work together well - they had an outstanding run of catching Traitors - but could also be utterly clueless and, in a couple of cases, a little cruel (whether intentional or not). The Round Tables towards the end got very emotional. Fascinating from a psychology point of view.
Bingewatched The Traitors Ireland in 2 days. Enjoyed it massively. Siobhan McSweeney was inspired casting as host; she was superb. I liked the twists on some of the missions, especially the one that used Irish Gaelic. As usual, some of my faves were got rid of too early (either murdered or banished)
I know that Tempus does indeed Fugit but I'm prepared to deny the reality that we are a lot bloody further from the 1980s than I'm comfortable admitting. Time is a construct, a weird soup anyway.
