suffice it to say, i’m AI skeptic.

however a colleague today gave me a compelling use case: using it to sub edit emails to even out the tone in possibly fraught scenarios.

on that note, where to a get a patriarchal mac mini?

POTUS can’t act with impunity if he holds Putin to account.

Ukraine (and Gaza) are pretexts for this act against Venezuela. Although, installing a vassal (economic) regime is more likely than any US military occupation.

Boy it would be nice to see more of this energy in politics broadly.

So, today I'm wrapping up People Watching. Massive thanks to everyone who has supported it & all the cool people I've met and drawn. I wrote an article in the Sunday Magazine today talking about the lessons I've learned doing it - and there were so many.

When I moved to Aotearoa about two decades ago, reckons were IKEA was coming ‘next year’ (and every year since!) I even went to Sydney and shipped a kitchen as the quality here for the same money was really poor. It’s going to shake things up, I reckon

for most basic research and idle curiosity, if @wikipedia.org’s search was slightly better, the big search engines would be unnessary. as it is, siri is really good (i know, right?!) at prioritising wikipedia results.

and the best way to avoid #AI is to avoid the corporations who push it.
