Only 7.2% of all receptions this NFL season were touchdowns. Meanwhile, of the 26 catches by linemen since the 2021 season, 13 were touchdowns, exactly 50 percent
statistically every pass to a non-lineman is a huge mistake

My model says that throwing to linemen is statistically one of the best plays you can run therefore you should do it every time.

After Tennessee's loss to Illinois, the Big Ten moves to 6-0 in bowl play while the SEC drops to 2-5 in bowl games, the only Power 4 conference with a losing record at this point of the post season. The Big 12 is 2-0. The ACC is 4-4.
