Spherical geometry was key to the circumnavigation of the globe, during the Neolithic. It is ~2,700 miles between the following locations. Grange, Ireland to Wassu, Gambia. Wassu to Serpent de Pascaud, French Guiana to Kejimkujik, Nova Scotia, then back to Grange. Incredible!

We are all so closely related in DNA because of a hidden war circa 10,000 BC - 5000 BC ..
there was a genetic bottleneck .. 95% of male genetic diversity disappeared. .
this doesn't mean 95% of blokes died, just that only 5% were breeding ..

Went to see Windmill Tump #longbarrow in Rodmartin today as I was passing by. Chambers are closed so not as much to see here as a visitor but it is archaeologically interesting and has a nice energy.

Most are aware of the importance of the aurochs to the Neolithic societies, not only on the UK., but also western Europe. Truly, the workhorse of the Neolithic Age, a recent genetic compilation, known as the Tauros, has been developed, and is currently used to farm along the Danube & in Portugal.

The mortise & tenon joint is the oldest on the planet, first used on the T Pillars of Göbekli Tepe, which date to ~9,000 BC. There are many similarities in construction between this ancient site and those of western Europe, including Stonehenge. Now, this is Neolithic science, at it’s best!

According to legend, Arthur's Stone at Dorstone Hill 🇬🇧 is the site where King Arthur slew a giant #FolkloreThursday
Radiocarbon dating shows that the site was one of the earliest #Neolithic settlements in west England!

The 3rd Neolithic stone structure & the original structure used to create the Anglesea Triangle. From this location, the other two locations were determined. A line scribed from the apex, Bryn Celli Ddu, & bisects the base, created by Bryn Cader Fader & Lletty'r Filiast points back to Göbekli Tepe.
