I assume most people know this, but seems important to point out basic truths at this moment in time. There is no energy emergency in the U.S. The U.S. is the world's top producer of oil and gas at the moment, and the top exporter of gas, and U.S. oil and gas producers are making record profits.

Pretty much exactly 80 years after the liberation of Auschwitz, the richest man in the world uses the Nazi salute at the inauguration of his close ally as US president. What should rationally not be surprising is still so deeply shocking and simply difficult to comprehend.

Trump wanting to implement oil drill sites in Alaska…. As if there isn’t thousands of unplugged, leaking, oils wells across the U.S ruining soil and the air we breathe. Start there, perhaps ?? Go to where there is a whole fucking creek of unmanaged oil killing wild life.

I would honest to god love enough people made the switch to BlueSky that it plummets Meta's stock. But I do wonder about the implications of BlueSky becoming a top competitor & I'm always curious to know how the HBIC give back to their communities outside of premium video quality and zero ads.
