The issuing of 5,000 eviction notices in three months last year is quite revealing when viewed against Ireland's historical record

Delighted to get this one across the line and into #DIFF2026. It's been a mad scramble over the past month! This is the story of a city fighting for itself as a broken property market ruthlessly chews up its citizens for profit, treats homes as assets and people as obstacles to be moved out.
Filmed over four years, Displace: The Battle For Dublin is a documentary about the trauma of developer-led change and the community resistance that follows.

It's made the official selection at #DIFF2026. Screening Sun Feb 22, 13:30 at the Lighthouse Cinema.

She had charges that were dropped for marijuana possession.

But the charges were dropped! But because of that, she's in a living hell.
