Might have a false memory around the filed card for the GI Joe figure Zartan. Hasbro removed the psychological profile in later toy runs, but I have a vague memory of it coming out with the old card, but with a separate correction explaining that schizophrenia isn't the same as mpd.

I was always told that the band Wedding Present was based on David Gedge getting a guitar as a wedding present from his bride, who then betrayed him or died tragically (I forget which), and all he had left of their love was this guitar on which he penned his tunes of loss.

Fond of Peter Haining anthologies, as he was my first (blush). But now find that Michel Parry was more adventurous with his choices (and didn’t keep padding them out with Stoker, Poe et al).
