A downside of the UK porn ban not getting attention is that it actively harms location-based UK digital security. It's much harder now to isolate legitimate traffic during attacks with geoblocking when everyone is using a VPN.

Very much looking forward to time off over December and New Year. I feel like the tech CEO obsession with AI and growth has actively harmed my working environment this past year and the stress it's creating is a challenge

I find it genuinely confusing that this Labour government don't understand the public don't care whether Starmer or Streeting is PM. They're literally just the same guy. We hate them both because their ideas all suck.

When I was researching my recent post about AI being a fatal danger to the young and vulnerable I came across 9 directly LLM-encouraged deaths just from media reports. This makes 10 and doesn't include all the people being hurt and killed by other ways AI is being used. Heartbreaking.

The state deliberately withdrawing care from minors with no clear rationale, no justifications beyond ideology and no actual care for those impacted and harmed is the real abuse of children.
