This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Europe’s 24-point peace plan calls for a ceasefire, third-party monitoring, and talks based on current front lines. It includes full POW swaps, return of civilians, NATO guarantees, no limits on Ukraine’s military, and control of ZNPP and key infrastructure. Russian assets funds Ukraine’s recovery.

Why do I believe that Mamdani jokingly told Trump “make nice with me and your poll numbers will go up”, and the rest is history?

I will give MTG credit for standing for her beliefs, even against Trump. The problem is that with very few exceptions, her beliefs are ignorant, racist, and filled with hate, so that credit quickly returns to a debit. Thanks for the Epstein stance, and good riddance on almost everything else.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

Spoiler alert. What you’re going to find out about Epstein is that he was simply a con man who figured out how to locate himself at the inevitable nexus of wealth, power, and depravity.

The rise of the tech oligarchy is not a coincidental convergence of personal, political, and business interests, write Ramya Chandrasekhar, Charlotte Ducuing, and Caterina Santoro. Rather, they argue, it is a phenomenon best understood within the broader logic of ‘finitude capitalism.’
