In the WA state Senate, I championed policies that helped servicemembers connect with essential resources. The bipartisan ANCHOR for Military Families Act builds on that model, offering relocation support to ensure military families have timely access to the tools they need for a smooth transition.

Almost every week – I hear from families who moved from Texas or Florida because they want their kids to survive. We’ve fought to protect health care access for LGBTQ+ kids in Washington state & now they’re trying to strip away life-saving care. This is evil.
I wonder how many trans people or parents of trans kids my Republican colleagues actually know. I spend time speaking to LGBTQ+ students and they ask me if I know any trans people my age because they don’t believe they will make it to 40.
