The problem with "realism" approach is: whoever successfully imposes their big picture view of reality on the audience wins the argument.
The success heavily depends on authority.

А так потери конечно невероятно огромны. Ни одна текущая страна в мире не то что демократическая, а даже авторитарная не смогла бы вынести те сотни тысяч потерь что несёт РФ. И главное ведь война и не собирается заканчиваться. Потери продолжаются, могут и ещё несколько лет так же пройти

Рынок как способ согласовать обмен товарами и услугами запросто допускает, и исторически допускал, участие агентов самой разной природы. Вот СССР заморил голодом миллионы чтобы конфисковать зерно, продал его и купил себе заводы. Можно торговать на рынке и не создавать рынок внутри себя.

It’s the pancake/waffles thing, but the reason it happens is that people don’t engage directly with the claims being made, they just read their friends’ dunks and then decide to do dunks of their own. They’re performing for social cred and that’s easiest if they caricature the thing they attack.
