I think I said it before but Steam as a platform in the purest, technical term, is good in it's almost status as a monopoly.
It centralizes access to games on PCs like nothing else.
But we NEED to recon that it should NOT be owned by a company, much less by an AMERICAN company

Yeah more than ever you need to get as many people to voice their distate for these bills in any form they take, don't allow even a gutted version to pass without it costing them a lot, hell they shouldn't be passed at all.

the HORSES affair is a startlingly low bar to cross to see if people actually care about protecting games from censorship of upsetting themes because it's far tamer and has way more moral clarity than a lot of stuff that doesn't get banned. but it's also very clarifying to see who can't cross it
