I don't doubt Link was once actually designed as a neutral self insert template but he clearly ISN'T anymore.

Oh btw. I know I am very fucking petty but I do think every artist that just uncritically regurgitates the unmuscular, hyperblonde Samus that Nintendo has been pushing since Other M as "The design" and how it's great is complicit in the cultural destruction of her character.
