Peter Thiel has been open about this for a long time. Trump is a way to break the republic, which can then be replaced by “free economic zones” with oligarchs as dictators and tech as a taskmaster for helpless humans without any rights. (1/2)
Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.

JFC this is sad. Canadians are now being imprisoned in their hotels in Minnesota out of fear of ICE Terrorists.
Cancel FIFA & the Olympics in the US.

Just do not visit the US. Period.
The Montreal Canadiens are playing the Minnesota Wild in Minneapolis tonight. The players have been recommended to stay in/eat at the hotel, take the team bus to the arena, and carry passports.

Perhaps we shouldn't be hosting the World Cup and the Olympics...

A family member asked me how I was doing. I said I was upset because of what's going on in Minnesota. They asked, "What's going on in Minnesota?"

There are people in the US who don't know what's going on in Minnesota.

A new poll finds that 1 in 4 Minnesota voters took part in the Jan 23 shutdown against ICE, or have a loved one who did. Of those, 38% DID NOT WORK, either because they made the choice to stay out, or their workplaces closed. By me, @thomasbirm.bsky.social, @bloomekatz.bsky.social

Healthcare fraud in Minnesota, sensationalized by Trump and Rupert Murdoch, is trivial compared to healthcare fraud in Texas and Florida, which lead the nation in this category. News you'll never see on Rupert Murdoch TV. www.startribune.com/trump-claims...
Trump claims Minnesota lost billions to fraud. The evidence to date isn’t close.
The fraud allegations have been used as a justification for federal immigration enforcement against Minnesota’s Somali population.

The only thing that will change things on the ground in Minnesota is the total destruction of DHS. Pull the poison tree out by the root.

Defund.
Dismantle.
Prosecute.
This is the way.
Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.

3d Cir. holds that habeas corpus petitions challenging immigration detention are "civil actions," so prevailing noncitizens may be entitled to attorneys' fees and costs under the Equal Access to Justice Act.

Gonna be a loooooooooot of these.

Everything out of their mouths is a lie
Just blatant liars. Every reporter in DC knows it:

In an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, denied that Mr. Trump had played any role in the search or that he had been briefed on the inquiry.

“I don’t believe he was involved,” he said.
Holy shit. Not only was Tulsi Gabbard present for the raid on Georgia's election center, she called Trump and put him on speaker phone to the FBI agents conducting the raid! (Gift link)
