Well, it looks like the Raptors will face a Pistons team on Wednesday without Duren and Stewart.
Pistons, Hornets fight.

Vancouver deserves another chance after the debacle of the first one. So many things worked against the success of the franchise, including historically bad management (which was actually recommended by the league) and a historically low Canadian dollar.
Hearing Vegas and Seattle are next in line for NBA teams… makes sense, but I’d really love to see Vancouver or Montreal get serious consideration one day too. Canada can definitely support another team.
From Brad Townsend:

“I’m hearing the NBA Board of Governors are likely to vote on expanding by two teams this summer and Las Vegas and Seattle are favored.”

If the NBA expands into the Las Vegas and Seattle markets, the West will need to shed one team. Looking at Wolves, Grizzlies, and maybe Pels.

I’m late on this, but congrats to @blakemurphy.bsky.social for being called up to the big show and not making a fool of himself.

Catherine O’Hara’s death overshadowing everything in these chaotic times is something Moira Rose would be proud of.

What?? This can’t be true. She is a true Canadian treasure.
The legendary Catherine O’Hara has died.

She was 71.

Here’s a question. If you were starting a team right now, would you rather start it with a 19 year old Cooper Flagg or a 26 year old Luka Dončić?

Despite the loss, Cooper Flagg put on a HISTORIC performance at home 🔥

This is utterly disgusting. If you allow this to happen, where through your direction actions or your support of the actions, then you are a morally reprehensible person.

Good to see Collin Murray-Boyles made the rookie team. Would love to have seen Shead on the sophomore team, and considering he was a second round pick it’s amazing he can be considered a snub.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Hitler purged the civil service of those who weren’t loyal. He targeted a class of people as enemies and had a special police force round them up in mass arrests (and anyone opposition). Then he talked of expanding Germany, in part, for strategic reasons. Why does this seem so familiar?

I’ve always believed that most people do what they believe is right, even if that’s often warped by outside forces that don’t lead to the most moral choices, and demonizing the people for those beliefs isn’t helpful…
…but…
…you don’t say things like this if you aren’t a horrible person.
