Looking at the stats for the Toronto Raptors on @basketball all-reference.com and wondered if, 10 games in, anyone predicted that 7 Raptors would be shooting over 39% from 3 and that Scottie, RJ, CMB and Jamal Shead would be part of that group and Ingram, Quickley, Agbaji and Ja’Kobe would not.

And intriguing question for Raptor fans, is should they have kept Davion Mitchell and traded away IQ? Mitchell is the point-of-attack defender the Raptors sorely lack, and, quite frankly, is shooting better than IQ so far (although that will likely not last long).

The last Blue Jays game I attended in person was Game 5 of the 1992 World Series. Unfortunately it was a loss, but they won the next game and I walked a packed Yonge Street from Queen to Eglinton in scene and atmosphere I will never forget.

Kind of ironic that the top 2 scorers on the Raptors tonight were the two players most with the biggest question marks about how they’ll fit on this team.

I can imagine the people who thought the rapture was coming and it didn’t had the same reaction when I buy a lottery ticket and don’t win. Yes, I know intellectually I’m not going to win, but I’m still surprised when I don’t because I just start getting my hopes up despite myself.
