I find it astounding that people like Danielle Smith want to move towards a more American-style health care system with all we know about how destructive that is. Of course, this is the same party that wants to leave Canada to join an authoritarian regime, so brains is in short supply.

Every time he got the ball and started sprinting up court with it was a joy to see. He is so dangerous in the open court. He needs to continue to do that.

I don’t disagree, but Nembhard and Mathurin missing most of their games also contributed because of missing Mathurin’s shot making and Nembhard’s point of attack defence which leads to fast breaks.

As long as Scottie doesn’t fall in love with the three as he did last year, and stick to shooting it off the catch rather than off the dribble, I think he’ll stay above league average. Both he and RJ will hopefully benefit from the addition of Ingram over the course of the season.

We need to stop calling things like this a sign of “competitive fire”. It’s emotional immaturity, especially when it was obvious other people were affected by his actions. I wouldn’t accept behaviour like this from the 16/17 year old boys I coach. It’s outrageous from a 27 year old professional.

The thing that helps is that his shot is not broken. He’s not going to shoot 40% from 3 this year, but he’s enough of a threat you can’t leave him alone like you can Poeltl.
