Today, the @wfp-de.bsky.social announced that food stocks have completely run out in Gaza due to Israel's 8-week long total blockade of the Gaza Strip preventing the entry of food, medicine, and aid to nearly 2 million Palestinians. A war crime backed by the United States.
NEW: As Israel blocks all crossings into Gaza, food is used as a weapon of war against the civilian population in acts of collective punishment that amount to genocide.

Last week, two displaced Palestinian women in a Gaza City camp spoke with Unicorn Riot during a day of food distribution.

It’s worth mentioning that I’m far too explicative and literal to be a “poster” but I love everyone else’s posts.

I really hope grad school doesn’t make me boring and pedantic. God knows I’m pedantic enough as it is, and if it does, how will I continue to enjoy ironic engagement with social media?!?!

Demand that I enjoy what I love and it will destroy me.

Love that tax season has gone from “file by April” to “bombardment of urgency starting in January”. Obscured in the language of “deals”, it’s really a demand to comply with a public sector responsibility managed by the private sector in a naked way it hasn’t really been before to my experience.

Fried fish is actually just amazing. Even if you don’t like other forms. It’s too good to hate.

I’m playing halo and my cat keeps looking at me every time there’s loud noises. I thought it was annoyance, but am finding that she knows that loud noises mean I die, pause the game, and pet her lol.

sounds like a way to manufacture consent to heavily crack down on anyone who expresses discontent about health insurance companies like they did with that woman in Florida.
"Due to widespread public support of the incident, law enforcement and others associated with Mangione's arrest are likely at a higher risk of targeting," the bulletin said.

Luigi Mangione -- the alleged killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson -- has been greeted by a surge of enthusiastic online support.

We actually have examples of Arab leaders overthrown by U.S. imperialism, destroying the country’s infrastructure and its capacity to run a modern state and spiraling the country into stateless chaos — worse than what existed before.

You only have to look at Libya and Iraq as recent examples.
Trying to do some pan-Leftist conciliation here: I agree that anyone that sees HTS as some liberatory/moderate force is being dangerously naive, but the problem with saying that they (or what follows this overthrow) "may be worse" than Assad, is that "worse" is sort of meaningless here.
Rule of thumb: Anyone who uses the term “tankie” unironically isn’t worth listening to about anything. The fact they call those pointing out that what may lie ahead for Syria may be worse than before “Assadists” just shows their analysis is stuck in a Marvel cinematic universe of “good vs bad guys.”

Liberals co-opt leftist ideas and language and misapply them so that conservatives then get to point out the gaping holes in the liberalized versions of them to discredit the original concepts.

Much like “the game”, every time I think I’m free the thought pops back in my head: I am nothing but a meat tube.

We need to stop wasting our time on elections and pleading with public officials and focus on organizing alternative power structures to prepare for a moment when it’s conceivable to transfer power from the old to the new—fast approaching, by the looks of it, even if it’s difficult to imagine now.

But such legislation will never pass in the first place without such a change in government, economy and media. Revolutionary change is a prerequisite for salvaging a future on this planet. There’s simply no way a capitalist economy can transition away from a highly profitable & entrenched industry.
