I feel like one of the most underrated explanations for what's happening right now in global politics is that almost everyone has lost their minds.

I'm really glad to see someone like Kelly finally saying this. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

You don’t get to pick. That’s the whole damn point of the rule of law.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

Going over to a guy’s place to cook and hang tonight. I’ve had a rack of ribs in my freezer for months that I’ve been waiting to use so I decided today would be the perfect time to whip em out for a fun and easy dinner.

Plot twist: they take three hours in the oven.

My kitchen has almost no counter space so I only make my famous pie dough on special occasions. The rest of the time I purchase ready made one and that’s how I made these cherry tarts. Dig tart shells out of pkg, fill with pie filling straight from the can and bake. They are tasty though!

Stoppard was brilliant and clever and funny. His jokes were as good as his profundities. But as well as all that, he made being a superb writer, being the smartest person in the room, seem improbably glamorous. He was a rock star.

Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

The only reason to have the military in D.C. is to increase tensions and antagonize people to the point they over-react, creating "justification" for increasing crackdowns on innocent people. It's all a con.
