Believers have been gathering weekly outside the Broadview ICE facility to pray for *19 years*. Yesterday the U.S. government told them, “no more prayer … because it's the state.”

We are past the point where we should be saying "this isn't about grabbing lawbreakers and violent criminals. This is about inflicting cruelty."

Summers is not a fire breather or some left winger. He slimmed down Obama’s stimulus and he said Biden’s Covid stimulus would overheat the economy. So him saying this is a big damn deal.

This story exemplifies the reason people are outraged at ICE.
