I miss the days of plopping the kids down in front of the TV as a babysitter. This feels really weird. And somewhere in there, without regulation, feels ripe to cause weird problems for kids (and their parents). Also heard so many ads for it today on my podcasts, do not want.

And this is a massive tragedy for us all. And the basic reasons are the same, because in both cases the item is “free”, by which I mean “subsidized by some other massive stream of revenue” such that competing by selling a product is really, really hard.
