The militarisation of Untied States Police Force was happening on Obama's watch. And same as it ever was, like clockwork, with a 10 year delay backwards Australia, (with it's pre-warning crystal ball) is sure to follow in toe and arrive at the exact same place
Police detonated a ‘stinger’ grenade at a Melbourne protest. Now two activists may sue over their injuries
Grenades filled with rubber pellets and other so-called ‘less lethal’ munitions have been increasingly deployed, despite being linked to serious injuries and even deaths

Indexation doesn't = cost-of-living relief.

This is posturing to appeal upper/middle-class people who don't depend on these payments or understand how they actually work.

Don't use people in poverty to prop up your image when you are not actually doing anything to help them.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference has been a front for a Fossil Fuel Jamboree for many years. It's no wonder why Albanese wants it held in Adelaide next year. Simply a Buyers Sellers Market for all of the coal and gas approvals under today's ALP govt.

Gough raised unemployment benefits to their highest level relative to poverty - then Fraser (and his treasurer John Howard) fucked it up as soon as they could.

Tent cities are growing due to your policies. 10% of our population are embedded in poverty but you’re obsessed with jobs while you give 14 billion welfare to offshore corporations every year. Dutton is unapologetically a monster, but at least he is honest. You’re fake progressives who excel at lies.

MLK had a 75% disapproval rating in 1968. High approval ratings don’t mean you are right, and low approval ratings don’t mean you are wrong. The true measure of a person is whether they will do what is right and just even if it is unpopular. This is why I celebrated King today and not the other guy.

We spent $14B on Newstart on the recent figures. But $20B on negative gearing and CGT discounts.

And yet, you're right, people who get the $14B are bludgers and thieves, while the $20b are not even though of.

I'd prefer politicians live under the same "mutual obligations" they force on the unemployed, if they don't meet their obligations they have their payment suspended, or terminated is found to be corrupt, or dishonest, then forced to pay back all payments, and face criminal prosecution. It's only fair

Wondering what percentage of this 53% are the wealthy that Albanese & Chalmers showered with $ & were never going to vote labor, & what percentage are the poor who turned on Labor, when Albanese & Chamlers gave them the finger & left them hopelessly fending for themselves?
