Each October, Tesla Owners Utah will host the Southern Utah Tesla Rally, an electric car rally on one of the most beautiful roads in America, Utah Highway 12.

With opening up of the Tesla charging to other brands, the rally is now called the Southern Utah All Vehicles Electric rally.
In 2025, we expect Bryce Canyon City will have DCFC, making reservations no longer necessary to participate in the rally.

On the back of my envelope, I find that the waste heat of fossil fuel from converting heat to work, or not using a heat pump instead of fossil fuels, amounts to about a half watt per square meter on earths surface.
