Neither I nor my spouse have tested positive.

We still mask on public transit.

We are on public transit right now.

This is a dead mushroom.

Now that we are increasingly getting our energy from renewable sources, we need to look at the Carnot cycle not as a limit for efficiency, but as a way to move heat to where we want it.

No, but I do find some hope here.

I’m looking forward to seeing these on the road, and every EV makes me smile.

Every EV helps disrupt the fossil fuel industry. I haven’t lost sight of who the real villains in our disrupted climate world is. If flipping off an EV from another brand of EV or a combustion car, check your priorities.

I love lighting a fire at bedtime and waking up to a warm home.

A high thermal mass strawbale home keeps warm in winter.

Winter hiking in Capitol Reef National Park.

I won't be leaving for another 15 minutes, but my car will be warm when I do.

Nuclear installed cost per kW is more expensive than offshore wind and keeps getting more expensive the more we build. Off shore wind is currently cheaper than nuclear and continues to get cheaper the more we build. We should build more off shore wind.

I support all those demonstration level projects. I owned Ballard Power Systems stock for a while, but sold it when I didn't think they would have a major role in decarbonization.

Mining hydrocarbons will likely continue after we stop calling them 'fossil fuels'. They have utility as feedstock for manufacturing. Even the refining industry will continue to some degree, but they won't be producing 'fuel'.

The Moche people of coastal Peru would sacrifice humans to appease Al Paec, the decapitator god, until El Niño, abated, the rains stopped, and fish returned.

Hoping we can avoid human sacrifices before we return to policies for mitigating climate change.

At some point I will replace my 2000’ Tacoma with an EV. Having lived with a mid sized truck for 25 years, I am looking forward to owning a full sized off road capable truck.

CyberTruck is the only vehicle that ticks all my boxes.
