The way I think about it is a little different to how I've seen most people describe it.
In my mind, I was definitely a (somewhat feminine) boy, but never a man. I transitioned in my 20s, so I was an adult at the time, but not a man. I just eventually became a woman.

Does anyone else find the steretypical cis affirming platitudes when you come out as trans frustrating? Things like "you're so brave", "your authentic self", "your gender journey" etc. I get they're trying to be supportive, but it just seems so patronising.

It has gone fine so far, but people don't all have work email addresses or anything at my work, so I have to come out to everyone more or less individually, which makes me want to transform into an oyster 🙃

Here’s a couple of genuine questions people should be asking themselves rn:
What Big Tech products do I use, and how much of my data do they control?
Why do I use them? Why am I loyal to their brands?
Does this product actually best suit my needs, or is it only habit and inertia?

Like this is why they have so much power. This is why we’re in free-fall toward fascism right now.
It’s not just that Americans can’t extricate their lives from Big Tech products in most cases. It’s that they don’t *want* to. And I don’t know what can be done about that. I’m struggling myself.

The Liberal Party is infested with transphobes, and Dutton himself has repeatedly voted against us.
