First finished project of 2026. The Simpler Sinister Cat Sweater by An Caitin Beag made in an adult 8 for my little human because my tension is insane so its finished dimensions are that of the size 5 in childrens. Yeah.. that’s a thing. Fits her perfectly. Yet to be blocked.

A sweater lying on a grey bed spread with the arms crossed over the abdomen section. The main colour and collar is dark teal. There’s a contrast yoke in vibrant pink and yellow and is worked so that a row of stylised cats show at the bottom of the yoke. Cuffs and waist band are in the same contrast colour.

Day 22 of #artadventcalendar. This price of weaving was the final result of a 4 shaft weaving course and is a mix of cotton, cottolin, and linen. It will eventually be made into a bag but I’m still very happy with how it turned out as a fabric.

I sculpted this large humpback whale last year, and it found a new home through Bsky! Made from coarse paper mache which I really love sculpting with due to the organic surface texture it gives you. Painted with acrylics.

Catching up on days 17 and 18 of #artadventcalendar with these two #crochet cardigans I made for my daughter and myself last year… this year? I think last year. Hers is absolutely unicorn puke and acrylic for washability, and mine is merino. Same pattern. Very different results.

My daughter cocoon cardigan made in rainbow acrylic with pastel rainbow trim hanging on the back of a chair. It legit looks like a unicorn puked it up and she LOVES it My cocoon cardigan hanging on the back of the door. It’s a deep red/wine red merino trimmed with a dark grey merino/silk blend. It’s super comfy and I wear it a lot.
