This is your reminder that South of Midnight is without question one of the best game stories told this year and deserves to be on the top of every list of that kind.
It wasn't made as a "Game For Impact" it was just a person's story, deserving of the same respect as any other.

South of Midnight is only in "Games for Impact" whatever that means at this point. Truly one of the best OSTs this year, and if you don't plan on playing, I recommend you check it out anyway.

It's easy to say "oh well just wait for DICE or the BAFTAs, they're more serious" and that's great, but TGAs get way more public attention because of the game trailers, so I think it's okay to want them to be more serious and considerate with their nominations

Two things can be true: 1.) The Game Awards are meaningless and we shouldn't take them all that seriously. 2.) Award shows of its scale DO rewrite the mainstream history of the art form, whether they deserve to or not, and its okay to care that it's so thoughtless despite having that responsibility.

Idk I guess I just wish when we have years like this one that was absolutely stacked with good games they would have the mind to go "okay well this game is already nominated for GOTY and 3 other categories that it's absolutely going to win, so lets spread the love and leave it out of others"

Okay listen, Clair Obscur was an amazing game but like. This is a little overkill. 😅 Dispatch and Outer Worlds 2 only being in 1 category each is wild behavior. Not even best performance nominees from Dispatch?

Finished Dispatch, what a fuckin ride. Shroud is easily one of my favorite villains in media now, what a cool and well written villain. I dont think my playthrough was what I would consider "perfect" but I will definitely be playing again.

The only thing I'm kinda bummed about so far in regards to Outer Worlds 2 is the lack of being able to respec. I can already tell there's enough variation in the game for multiple playthroughs, but I regret some stat choices now that I know better how they help in the game

Dispatch is so fucking good. It's very stressful sometimes, and I have one decision I've made that I kinda regret, but I'm enjoying it so much

Okay listen, I had a hard time ranking animals/Manfred above actual companions cause it kinda felt rude, even though I fucking love Manfred. Also, I tended to hard bond to about 2 companions per game and care very little for the rest, which is why theres so many ties xD
