On the flip side, I'm kinda surprised and a bit sad REPO didnt get nominated alongside Peak. I really liked both of them

And that's not to say that they don't deserve to be celebrated, but at the very least, having one game take up 3 spots in the performance category feels especially bad.

I mean imagine Clair Obscur wins all of their nominated categories. Were they actually the best of the best this year? Maybe, but seeing the same people get on stage for all of those categories is going to be odd to say the least

There were so many indie games this year that deserved as much love and attention, and perhaps they could have got it if E33 had been nominated only, say, 6 times instead of 12 🥲
