Focusing on efforts to maintain a healthy sustainable planet where people and governments work together to protect our environment and life support systems for ourselves and future generations.
Why we need to organize and push back. Support solar and wind power. Support politicians who oppose the MAGA Cult by volunteering, contributing, speaking up and voting.

The threat to our environment and being able to survive on planet earth is serious and the crazed guy and his MAGA Cult followers are dragging us backwards into darkness. Speak up. Speak out. Speak loud. Speak now. and vote like your life depends on it because it does.
Climate change isn't woke. Or rather, it's a bit woke and there's nothing wrong with that, but that's not all it is. Political and business leaders urgently need to reject the lazy thinking that is trying to paint climate action as an elite endeavour. www.businessgreen.com/blog-post/43...

The President is a Neanthredal in mind and body - not interested in science or democracy or public health and a plethora of other things that most people support and view essential to a thriving society.
Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

Total system and life cycle impacts are necessary to evaluate long term carbon and climate impacts. Good intentions are not enough.

Reducing carbon is going backward under the Trump GOP MAGA Cult, both nationally and state by state and locally. Voting in this year's elections matter at all levels. Help elect climate friendly politicians and vote MAGA Cult members out of office. #VotingMatters

Agree, put making decisions based on science and facts, not how much profits the fossil fuel industry and billionaires can make. The future health of the earth and its inhabitants are at serious risk.
🚨PSA🚨

A government restricting what scientists are allowed to study has NEVER been a sign of a society moving towards a more free, more just, or more enlightened future.

A thriving scientific ecosystem is a core pillar of a healthy democracy.

Trump and GOP MAGA Cult are a scourge on the US and the world, pushing short term profits for the fossil fuel industry while ignoring the increasing impacts of fossil fuel consumption on public health and the environment.
My collaborator and friend Chris Piecuch's new paper confirms: despite what the Department of Energy claimed, sea-level rise is indeed accelerating around the contiguous US
Rebutting a Trump report, study shows U.S. sea-level rise is accelerating
“It’s not politics. That’s what the data say,” said the study’s author, who examined 70 tide gauges around the country.

Help stop the MAGA Cult eliminating climate change research. The fossil fuel industry would love this and we the people and the world will suffer the consequences so they can make more money. Short term greed for long term negative consequences for our health and the health of our planet.
