My current view on the next way we do things is I want to see trials, prosecutions & gallows go up for the monsters who took the wheel. I'm not trying to hear about reforms or half-measures. We're not letting bygones be bygones. I expect the next guys looking for votes to be focused & purposeful.

Also I don't think you can separate the behavior of Silicon Valley and the increase in rent seeking from the increasing dominance of Venture Capital. Just like you can't disentangle the enshitification of so many companies - Joanne's, so many local news outlets - from private equity.
