I really don’t want to support secret lairs (and I’ve also never been successful at getting any that I want, but that’s beside the point), but some of the first dates my now wife and I had was playing Monster Hunter and MtG together… dang it.

I don’t trust job security in the United States anymore. Since returning to the USA, to take care of family, my wife and I have been laid off (two different jobs), struggled to pay bills, and my current job has no budget whatsoever for anything which does not give me confidence.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

Accidentally became the IT person of my office for having basic computer skills… I’ve never seen such incompetence from both older staff AND younger staff. The student workers have 100 tabs open and the older staff have EVERY application on their computer running… how? How is it this bad?!
