Im a bit of a seamstress myself, so this image in St Andrew’s Church, Kenn, Devon is a favourite.

This window showing the Nazareth carpenters’ workshop with Mary sewing was completed in 1888 by the Hardman Company.

Sorry to be repetitive, as I know I've mentioned this before, but Blackwell's do an AMAZING deal for people outside the UK, with free international delivery: blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/sea...

Nothing iffy about it. And I'm told by people who've used them that there are no extra tariffs or taxes.

#OTD 1521 Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Catholic Church by Pope Leo X. His works criticising corruption and venality in the church had been denounced as heretical in the Papal Bull Exsurge Domine. Luther had responded by burning the bull and excommunication followed.
