Good to see open recognition that Witkoff is working for Putin as well as Trump.

This is very good - and should not be surprising, but given how the media and politicians talk it is. Kids are better at navigating their online experiences than adults give them credit for.

(And the contrast between Andrew Tate and Bonnie Blue is something my students have told me about)
@paulbernal.bsky.social at last, someone actually TALKED to a diverse range gen-z about there experience online AND offline over a year observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

Old Soviet joke for today:

A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves.

After a long time of this, the owner says “Can I help you find something?”

“I’m looking for the obituaries.”

“The obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.”

“Not the one I’m looking for.”

This an excellent resource!
🤢 How much sewage was dumped in your river last year?

📍On my map, click anywhere along a river's path to trace every spill upstream from that exact spot.

📈 Scale spills by size to see the worst offenders.

📅 Compare 2023 and 2024 spills.

This is insanity. In a queue of 17,000+ people to book a UK driving test at 6:20am! For a test in November. Which will have disappeared by the time I reach the front. Just like booking Glastonbury tickets.

Lovely words from Simon Ostrovsky.

I spoke with him for my first documentary about #Ukraine and we appeared on a round-table panel event in #Kyiv too.

His reporting was superb covering the initial 2014 invasion by #Russia.

Trump could have pushed for an end to the war in Ukraine without becoming actively hostile to Ukraine. Instead, he has imbibed Putin’s lies. Have written about the emergence of a new US/Russia axis, where it comes from and the staggering implications for Europe.

This is a must listen. Powerful, moving, emotional and puts the record straight.
NEW: Andrew Norfolk broke the grooming gang story, 15 years ago. His exclusive interview on today’s News Agents
is deeply powerful, not least for his anger about those political figures now exploiting it and the victims for their own purposes.
