Decorations now up for Christmas.
It’s kind of odd putting them up really as none of us in the house are religious at all, so we won’t be attending church or anything like that.
It’s just having the greenery and lights on dark evening makes it brighter.

Lights in the fountain outside city hall this morning while I was on my way to work. It was 8.45 or so, but with sunrise having been less than half an hour ago the light was still a kind of murky blue.

I can't imagine doing this. (My son is 16) Apparently 67% of parents track their 18+ kids phone locations. The justification being only 17% of them contact their parents daily when they are away at university.
I'd understand for younger kids - but at 18+?

But when I asked for the olive ciabatta, they said it was cherry, but that everyone else had thought it was olives too.

I’ve said it before, but I wish I had a bigger kitchen. I don’t even mean a kitchen big enough for a centre island. Or even a breakfast bar type thing.
Just a kitchen that isn’t 2m by 3.2m (abt 6.5ft by 11ft) so I have actual worktop space and more than 4 cupboards
