I always forget that my dad installed motion sensor lights alongside the path in his back garden, turning every nighttime walk to the shed into the video for Billie Jean.

Has the BBC series version of #H²G² never been repeated on the BBC - I've checked on iplayer?

If you click on it where you usually see most recent broadcast date it has only a 1981 date which I suspect was first broadcast?

I have a sudden yearning...

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

And other (mostly passagg) various replies I might have used to WIN and HUMBLE them.

(And any free brain thinking time during the rest of the day too).

I DIDN'T think about it on my drive home though.

So: there's that!

Somebody shouted at me rather aggressively this morning. In front of people. (Non work related).

I was so taken aback by the rude I feel I did not adequately stand up for myself, but I DID remain calm and did not escalate the situation.

I of course spent my drive in thinking of various zingers.

Honestly I've just started Ep 3 and it really is a perfectly written, acted and filmed drama #WaitingForTheOut

The pace is perfect, and I love the way the camera often stays on Dan's face, or another character observing their reaction to what is being said.

Brilliant. And based on a true story

The Home Office now describes asylum seekers as "illegal immigrants [living in hotels]" with no reference to the reason that these people are in government-funded accommodation is that this government has taken & will process the asylum claim from them in 98-99% of cases of unauthorised entry.

I'm on a standing-room only train between Leeds and Sheffield. There's an elderly, slightly drunk man behind me playing 'Long Tall Sally' loudly on his phone, and shouting 'BABY!' and 'HAVE SOME FUN!' occasionally. Other passengers stoic.
