I tallied all the hospitals and health systems that have stopped providing gender-affirming care to young people in the last year (so you don't have to)

If you've kept up with STAT's reporting this year, you know how big an impact federal funding cuts have had on research. But trans scholars in particular have had to pivot research topics, delay job searches and career advancements, limit travel — and at times have been fearful for their own safety.
