Despite protests already being managed by the Los Angeles Police Department, President Trump is escalating the situation by threatening to deploy roughly 500 active-duty Marines to the streets of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles: Remain peaceful. Don’t fall into the trap that extremists are hoping for.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

The President is lying about Social Security as an excuse to gut Social Security after promising not to touch it.

Why? To pave the way for more tax cuts for the rich.

Thrilled to be able to share, "Tragedy in Rock Springs," in this week's issue of @newyorker.com. It's an account of one of the most horrific episodes of racial terror in our nation's history and the effort today to uncover its full story. www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
When an American Town Massacred Its Chinese Immigrants
In 1885, white rioters murdered dozens of their Asian neighbors in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A hundred and forty years later, the story of the atrocity is still being unearthed.

Trump berates Zelensky, the leader of a democratic country courageously fighting Russian imperialism, while he allies himself with Putin, a dictator who started the bloodiest European war in 80 years.

Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.

Trump's Social Security Administration commissioner just called for a 50% staff reduction.

This would gut SSA field offices and make it harder for millions of seniors to access benefits.

Make no mistake: this is an attack on Social Security itself.

📢Did you know GOP leaders are shopping around proposals that would make it harder for married women to vote?

I’m not joking, but I wish I was. The proposal would change our laws to require the name you vote with to match your birth certificate.

Is this 1825 or 2025?

Douglass was an abolitionist, suffragist, orator and author. That’s what we celebrate him. Let’s be clear: This bars celebrating him because he was Black.
