Last week in Traverse City, I sat down with hardworking men and women who have done everything right over the years but are being failed by our broken healthcare system. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. As governor, I’m going to ensure Michiganders can access *and* afford quality health care.

Driver’s education opens doors to jobs, sports, activities, independence, and safer roads. I’ll keep working to expand access to affordable, high-quality driver training across our state and streamline the process to becoming a driving instructor.

Michigan had a fund that helped pay for districts to offer driver’s ed options. It went away in 2004. Now, only a few districts still offer driver’s training.
