Just. Words. Inspiring words.
Jaren gets another transition attack and multiple attempts at the rim. Doesn’t lead to anything, but that’s another high value shot.

The Grizzlies are really weaponizing Eddy’s catch and block radius (radii?) against this small Spurs team on both ends.

That bucket right there wasn’t available for the first 14 games.

At least he gave it his all before the injury.
Grizzlies say star guard Ja Morant will be re-evaluated in two weeks due to a Grade 1 right calf strain.
November 17, 2025 at 6:26 PM
My broad takeaway from the part of the game I saw was that Zach looked more mobile than last year. Am I wrong?
November 16, 2025 at 12:59 AM
But what a great 6 minutes it was.
Ja Morant (right calf soreness) will not return. Grizzlies injuries give and take away, as it ever was. Grizzlies, for at least the rest of this game, will again be without all four actual point guards on the roster.

Grizzlies will roll with:

Ja Morant
Jaylen Wells
Cedric Coward
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Zach Edey

This is the lineup most wanted the team to get to when Coward first showed he was ready. If this season is about deciding whether to keep building with this core, this is the group that needs to be tested.

Just tuning in and Jaren grabbed an amazing defensive rebound

Landry Shamet just dunked on Kelel Ware and yes, it was as weak as you’re thinking it was.

Going to repeat myself.

The Prime NBA crew is fucking fantastic. It's sooooo much better than we've had for years.

Good job good effort Cleveland. Raps had it tonight.
November 14, 2025 at 2:25 AM
I really admire Cleveland’s ability to just continually play their game and keep firing without really closing the gap. They’re making the Raptors work for everything and it feels like eventually the Raps will run out of ammo.

Insane trade idea: Kyrie, PJW, and AD for Garland, Hunter, and Jarrett Allen. Who says no? Insert a different DAL wing if you have another you prefer.
November 14, 2025 at 12:48 AM
I'd look pissed too if the FO took the keys away from an offense that maximized my game and had me playing at an all-NBA level and gave them to a point guard who got suspended for quitting on the team, and now I'm expected to fit in around that guy. Just my .02.

One thing I wrote about in Monday’s column is how Iisalo’s shifted his rotation within games.

Saw that last night in several ways: Quick pulls for Konchar (3 minutes) and KCP (15). First real Morant-Vince minutes.

Herrington: As Grizzlies drama passes, spotlight shifts to coach Tuomas Iisalo
After a few days of crashing out, the back-to-normal Grizzlies hit the road, with plenty to evaluate, on the sidelines and on the floor.
